TERROIR

THE PLACE THAT SHAPES EVERY BOTTLE.

ROOTED IN BLACÉ

A landscape at the heart of southern Beaujolais.

Domaine Morisseau is located in Blacé, in the rolling hills of southern Beaujolais.

Here, ancient gneiss soils, carefully tended vineyards and the character of each vintage shape wines defined by freshness, balance and precision.

ANCIENT GNEISS SOILS

Millions of years in the making.

Our vineyards are rooted in ancient gneiss, a metamorphic rock formed under intense pressure and heat over millions of years.

Naturally well-drained, these soils influence vine growth and form an essential part of the identity of our vineyards in Blacé.

THE VINEYARD

Every season matters.

The vineyard changes throughout the year, and every season plays a part in shaping the next vintage.

Our work is guided by observation, patience and attention to each parcel, with the aim of harvesting healthy grapes that faithfully express their origin.
